Meet Dick, Julian & Anne who are sent away to stay with their cousin Georgina who they don't know. Georgina lives by the beach and her family own an island with its own castle. Georgina is a tomboy and refuses to answer to any name except George. After some uncertainty, they soon become great friends. They go exploring on the island and a massive storm brings up an old shipwreck onto the beach. They rush back early the next day to see if they can find the rumoured hidden treasure and this is the start of some exciting adventures for them all.
This is an awesome book and the best thing about it is that there are over 20 books in the series so as soon as you have finished reading one you can't wait to start on the next one.
