This is an awesome book and the best thing about it is that there are over 20 books in the series so as soon as you have finished reading one you can't wait to start on the next one.

One rainy day while playing hide and seek indoors, Lucy, the youngest hides at the back of a wardrobe and ends up in another world where it is always winter. While she is exploring she befriends a talking fawn and becomes emotionally caught up in wanting to help him in his fight against the evil white witch. She eventually convinces her brothers and sister that this magical world exist and they end up on the most exciting quest to help overthrow the white witch and end the eternal winter in Narnia.

Diary of a wimpy kid series

This is a funny story of Greg Heffley, a sixth grade boy trying to navigate his way through middle school and growing up. It really doesn't help when his painful older brother Rodrick, torments him by pulling aweful pranks on him. And his little brother Manny, who annoys him more than a… well you know. Not to mention his parents.... All of his family will make you laugh out loud with their clumsy mistakes that any person would call “bad luck.”

This has plenty of easy to read text with great comic style images to add to the story.
