Events to be held for this promotion.

The students here love to make movies and to role play so I wanted to incorporate some fun into this for them.

The event which will run to launch the project is getting the target group of boys together to look at the books and to choose a title to read. In pairs they will be guided to make a short 1-2 minute film using an iPad. In the film they will interview each other and give the reasons they chose that particular book.

At the end of the activity the group will come back together to view their movies and they will be asked to take their book home to read. 

The next event will take place in two weeks when they come back to the library to see how they went with the books. They will work again in pairs to create another short video to say what they liked about the book and to promote it to their friends.

Their movies will be loaded up onto the library TV for promotion of the books and will be shown in their library class.
